MORNING ARRIVAL:
Car Riders: Front of School: Sponsors pull up to the front of the school and drop off their student(s) once personnel are there at 0800-0829 to receive the students. Students then enter through the two side vestibules. Students arriving late must be brought to the front office for check-in. Students must be able to independently exit their vehicle otherwise; the Sponsor should park and walk the student.
Walkers/Bikers: Student(s) must walk once on sidewalks for school grounds and use bike racks at front and rear of building. Enter either at front or rear of building between 0800-0829. Students cannot walk alone under 4th grade.
Bus: Drop off occurs in the rear of the building, no other vehicles can drop in that part of the building.
DISMISSAL:
ANY CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY 1500 TO THE FRONT OFFICE.
Bus changes require a form and 24h notice at minimum.
Car Rider: occurs in the front lot beginning after 3:15 by an authorized person with an ID. Students in this line should be able to enter their vehicle independently, be able to enter from the sidewalk/passenger side of the vehicle only and not need assistance entering the vehicle. If your student must enter the vehicle on the driver’s side or needs assistance in entering the vehicle, you need to have them picked up in the Cafeteria as a Walker Pick Up and not the Car Pick Up. Please ensure you receive a Car Rider tag for you and your student to facilitate this process more quickly. Contact the Front Office to add an authorized adult.
Walker: Walkers will wait at the cafeteria door until an authorized adult presents their ID. Students living locally in 4-5th grade may walk independently after the 1st week of school. Contact the Front Office to add an authorized adult.
Bus Rider: are brought to the busses at the rear of the school. Buses depart at 1520 and students will not be released from the bus without an authorized adult present at the designated bus stop. Students will be given a tag for their backpacks upon bus registration. Contact the Front Office to add an authorized adult.
During the first few days of school dismissal takes a little longer than usual as students learn their method home and the processes we are using. We graciously ask for your patience in this endeavor during the first week of school and always bring ID.
