Principal's Corner

Welcome to Kingsolver Elementary, home of the Knights. I am honored to serve as principal as Kingsolver Elementary and I am excited for our journey ahead. Serving at Kingsolver and our Fort Knox community is truly a dream job! It is an honor and privilege to work with our military-connected students.

Kingsolver Elementary School is a 21st century concept school that serves approximately 475 students from PK through Grade 4. The 21st century school concept includes adaptable neighborhoods that include learning studios, teacher collaboration space, and open-area common spaces designed for student-centered learning. Our students utilize the 21st Century Skills of collaboration, creativity, citizenship, communication, and critical thinking to be college and career ready.  

We pride ourselves in being a school of excellence with high expectations for learning. Our students are always at the forefront of what we do! You will often hear us say “our students” because we believe that we have a collective and shared responsibility for all students in the school. This also creates a close-knit “family feel” in which all students and staff look out for one another and create a sense of security in which students take risks and achieve greatness!  
The staff of Kingsolver is dedicated to helping our students achieve their greatest potential. Our staff care about the social and emotional well-being of our students and providing a safe place to learn.

Creating and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders is a priority for Kingsolver ES. We know the importance of building a sense of community within and outside the walls of the school. We look forward to continuing our community partnerships.
